Home Return to Pencil Roving

These double-rolled slippers incorporate the full thickness of the pencil roving (the segments were not split in half lengthwise). The toe sections of these slippers were knit in the round. Since the ankle sections were knit back and forth, the roving in these sections were left loose at the top, creating a fleece cuff.
